On the afternoon of June 10, Jiang Hongyang, the Secretary of the School of Economics CPC Committee in Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), visited SEC. The leaders of the SEC, Secretary Huang Guoqing, President Sun Jianqiang and Deputy Secretary Gou Hailin, met the guests from HUST in Room 305, North Wing. The head of the Department of Economics, Professor Liu Xiaoyong and related secretaries attended the seminar.
First, on behalf of SEC, Huang Guoqing warmly welcomed the delegation of the HUST School of Economics. Secretary Huang briefly introduced the history of SEC and achievements and progress have been made by SEC, reviewed historical origins of friendly relationship between two schools, and extended gratitude to the peer school for its gifts and experience. Then, Deputy President Sun Jianqiang gave a comprehensive introduction to the big picture of SEC, and gave a detailed explanation of its academic programs, discipline development, scientific research and social services. Two parties also conducted in-depth exchanges on specific topics such as subject evaluation, postgraduate enrollment, postgraduate thesis evaluation, postgraduate Party member development and education. The seminar was warm and harmonious.
Finally, Deputy Director Yao Sui and Yuan Yue of gave a recruitment seminar of summer camp for the junior, which enhanced the understanding of the School.
