From April 21 to 23, China Exhibition Economic Research Annual Conference and 2017 China Exhibition Education Forum were held in the city of Haikou, Hainan Province. School of Economics and Commerce was awarded as 2016 China Excellent Exhibition College and Excellent Organization Prize on Micro-Course Competition in the conference. Dr. Gao Kechang and Dr. Xu Jian, from School of Economics and Commerce won the third prize on the 2nd China on the Micro-Course Competition on Exhibition Major.
Mr. Yuan Zaiqing, head of China Exhibition Economy Research Association, Mr. Ma Yong, dean of China Ministry of Education College Teaching Supervision Committee on Tourism and Hospitality Major, along with guests from different government sectors, research institutions and colleges, attended the conference and forum. The guests, including scholars, entrepreneurs and public officials discussed the hot topics on supply-side reform, the innovation and practice of exhibition education, and talents cultivation in the field of exhibition at the background of the Belt and Road.
