On April 14, School of Economics and Commerce signed strategic cooperation memorandum agreements with Policy Research Institution of Guangzhou Economic Development Zone. Mr. Chen Jianrong, secretary of Management Committee of Guangzhou Economic Development Zone, Research Prof. Wu Yechun, assistant to the president of SCUT and secretary of CPC SEC Committee, and Pro. Wang Renzeng, executive dean of SEC, along with delegations of GEDZ and SEC attended the signing ceremony.
Prof. Wu and Mr. Chen both spoke highly of the cooperation between SEC and GEDZ. They hoped that both sides could conduct in-depth cooperation in the future on the basis of the memorandum.
According to the strategic cooperation memorandum, SEC and GEDZ would jointly strengthen strategic plans on economic development, industrial restructuring, development of modern service industry and high-tech industry and talents training respectively.
