On April 13, Guangzhou Shangri-la Hotel manager Ms. Wu Xiaorui gave a lecture to students majoring in Tourism and Hospitality Management in Lecture Hall, which is SEC’s brand academic activity.
Ms. Wu firstly introduced Shangri-la’s external image which was defined as Positive, Graceful, Capable, full of spirit and smiling by specific illustration and pictures. Then she pointed out that Shangri-la’s spirit connotation came from hotel’s culture by presenting six videos on stuff training to show key points and focuses of hotel service etiquettes. Students learned essential hotel service etiquette culture and quality in a relaxing atmosphere.
At the end of the lecture, Ms. Wu answered students’ kinds of questions on hotel management, culture and etiquettes and encouraged them to learn more and practice more in university. Students hoped that they could have more chances to take part in the lecture to learn more from professionals in the field of tourism and hospitality.
