On May 26, an academic lecture, given by Professor Linghin Li and hosted by the Construction Management Society, was held in the Wushan Campus.
Professor Li is a land policy specialist at the University of Hong Kong (UHK). He is the deputy dean of UHK’s Faculty of Architecture and the deputy head of the Department of Real Estate and Construction.
The topic of the lecture was about the relationship of the integrated development between the mixed-income community and the harmonious society.
On the lecture, Professor Li stated his points of view on different elements that may affect the mixed-income community, including government-resident collaboration, transportation network, social facilities, environmental protection, equal rights, and local economic tasks. He also pointed out that currently the major problems obstructing the spreading of the mixed-income community are in scale and design.
During the Q&A session after the lecture, the audience exchanged their ideas with Professor Li, who answered their questions and inspired them to develop more thoughts on the topic.
