Scholarship and Grants Award Ceremony of Guangdong Precious Metal Exchange Center was launched in SEC on February 18, Mr. Wu Yechun, Party Secretary of SEC, Mr. Yang Yiren, deputy Party Secretary of SEC, Mr. Luo Xinran, director of training department of GPMEC, Ms. Mou Zongyan, director of human resource and administration department of Rong Tong Hua Du, one member of GPMEC, staffs of GPMEC and representative students who had been awarded scholarships and grants in SEC attended the ceremony.
Mr. Wu Yechun began his speech by sincerely thanking and praising GPMEC’s funding support of scholarship and grant-in-aid for SEC’s students. He emphasized that the cooperation between SEC and GPMEC lasted for a long time, SEC and GPMEC established a deep friendship. He encouraged students who had won scholarship and grant-in-aid to study hard and be a grateful person.
Mr. Luo Xinran introduced the basic operation capacities in GPMEC and mentioned that the precious metal industry was a sunrise industry and GPMEC was willing to support students who were also in the sunrise level of life and the whole society and witness their development. Ding Youwei, on behalf the students who had been awarded GPMEC scholarships and grants, expressed his gratitude toward GPMEC, and made a promise that he would work harder to thank those who had given him help and support. Ms. Mou Zongyan communicated with students at site in a harmonious way from the perspectives of future development, which won warm applauses.
Students learned more about GPMEC and focused more on the responsibility in this activity. The ceremony also deepened the friendship between SEC and GPMEC, forging solid foundation for the future cooperation and communication between SEC and GPMEC. (Translated and Edited by HUANG Xiaoting)
