Delegation of BEL Faculty of Queensland University visits SEC

On Oct. 22, Professor Rodney Strachan, dean of economics section and Louise West, administrative assistant, from BEL (Business, Economics and Law) faculty of Queensland University, visited School of Economics and Commerce. Professor WU Yechun, assistant to the president of SCUT and party secretary of SEC CPC committee, Professor SUN Jianqiang, deputy dean of SEC, Professor DENG Kebin and LI Longfeng, SEC secretary of foreign affairs, received honorable guests and held a face-to-face exchange conference. 

Two sides had an in-depth communication on the diversified Sino-Australia cooperative education programs, reaching a tentative agreement on 2+2 dual degree Sino-foreign cooperative program for undergraduates and 1+1+1 dual degree Sino-foreign cooperative program for postgraduates. The cooperation between two sides on scientific research and faculty’s further education, exchange and training had also been discussed. 

It is known that The University of Queensland is a renowned and reputable university around the world, ranking in the top 50 as measured by the QS World University Rankings and the Performance Ranking of Scientific Papers for World Universities.
