The 2013 and 2014 class students of innovation economics class of School of Economics and Commerce go to University of Illinois Urbana Champaign to join in Economics Summer School Program 2015 with three led teachers.
During the three weeks, the students are divided into three groups to carry out the study and practice activities. Specially, students take an active part in the study and practice activities, they answer the professors’ questions and join in the practice outside the classroom. During the three weeks, they visit the state Capitol, Abraham Lincoln presidential museum, Lincoln Home, and Lincoln's tomb, and study the operation mechanism of the federal reserve bank.
The academic program makes the economics of innovation class students to experience foreign education innovation model, enriches the learning experience of economics, feels the foreign culture, develops the international perspective, and improves the English application ability.
