On Nov. 6, School of Economics and Commerce-School of Software and Engineering Sub-forum of the 10th anniversary of HEMC undergraduate teaching symposium kicked off in B10 academic hall and room 305 of B10 north wing. Mr. Wei Kun, deputy dean of HEMC teaching and laboratory management office, chiefs of SEC and SSE, dean of departments, faculty and student representatives attended the forum. Professor Jiang Jinbo, deputy dean of SEC, hosted the conference.
The forum was divided into keynote speech and discussion phases, focusing on two topics: The Challenge and Future of International Education and Integration of Production, Teaching and Research and Collaborative Innovation Talents Training. Professor Wu Yechun, assistant to president of SCUT and party secretary of SEC, gave a warm welcome speech. Professor Wang Renzeng, executive dean of SEC, introduced English Financial Talents cultivation and international education on the basis of overseas visiting scholar experience. Professor Zuo Baohe, deputy dean of SSE, made a report on the outstanding talents training in the international background. Professor Li Li, assistant to dean of SEC, shared his opinions on the talents training in the field of tourism and hospitality management. Three professors’ excellent reports won warm applause from audience on-site and represented the fruitful achievements that HEMC campus has got in the past ten years.
After the keynote speech, chiefs of each departments, faculty and student representatives joined the symposium in the room 305 of B10 north wing. Professor Zuo Baohe hosted the discussion.
The sub-forum ended with success. It not only presented the achievements that two schools in HEMC had got, but also proposed a bunch of valuable questions worthy of exploration in theory. (Edited by Huang Xiaoting)
