On October 16, School of Economics and Commerce held an appointment ceremony, on which Professor Qiu Hanqin from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University was appointed as Chair Professor. Professor Wu Yechun, assistant to president of SCUT and SEC Party Secretary, Professor Wang Renzeng, executive dean of SEC and Professor Li Li, executive associate dean of SEC, participated in the ceremony.
On the ceremony, Prof. Wu Yechun awarded appointment certificate to Prof. Qiu Hanqin and hoped that the academic exchange and cooperation on the field of tourism and hospitality management education between South China University of Technology and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University could be enhanced and promoted.
