From July 17 to 20, with the invitation of the city of Liupanshui, Guizhou province, Professor Wu Yechun, assistant to the President of SCUT, CPC party secretary of School of Economics and Commerce, along with professors from sub-school of tourism and hospitality management in SEC, visited the city of Liupanshui. Mr. Yang Hongyuan, member of Standing Committee of Municipal Committee and minister of Propaganda Ministry of Liupanshui, received SEC delegation.

Liangdu Weekend Forum invited SEC professor Tian Qiusheng to give a lecture entitled “2014 China macro-economic trend: analysis of the first half year and prediction of the second half year” for more than one thousand cadres. Professor Tian summarized sound performances of macro-economy in the first half year, analyzed the reasons behind and predicted the macro-economic trend in the second half year.
On the basis of the recent situations of Liupanshui tourism resources and development, professor Li Li, professor Jiang Jinbo and Doctor Wu Zhicai proposed constructive suggestions on tourism development strategy and key scenic area in Liupanshui.
In the discussion and exchange section, professor Wu Yechun introduced the talent cultivation, scientific research and social service in SCUT and emphasized that SCUT would make full use of technological and intellectual advantages to assist the economic and social development in Liupanshui. Mr. Yang Hongyuan, on behalf of Liupanshui, expressed gratitude to SCUT and hoped that SCUT could conduct further cooperation on the talent cultivation and training, industry intellectual support and transformation of high-tech achievements.
