According to the work arrangement of theGuangdong Provincial Department of Education's Sports Immersion ActionPlan to assist Yangjiang City, on the evening of September 15th, the teamfrom the School of Physical Education of South China University of Technologywent to Yangjiang. On the 16th, they carried out activities at a middle schoolin Yangjiang, including Training to Improve the Teaching Ability ofPhysical Education Teachers in Primary and Secondary Schools in YangjiangArea and Signing Ceremony for Teaching Internship Bases forAssisted Schools.

Leaders and guests attending the openingceremony include Zeng Xiaoqing, a second-level researcher of the YangjiangEducation Bureau, Guan Chuangkai, the head of the Sports, Health and ArtEducation Section of the Yangjiang Education Bureau, Tong Weishi, the chairmanof the labor union of Heshan Middle School, Wu Rangji, the vice principal ofChengcun Middle School, and Xu Guolun, the principal of Beiguan Town CentralPrimary School. Gao Xiaobo, the vice dean of the SPE of SCUT, and Zhang Zhanming, the vice dean, werealso in attendance.

At the opening ceremony, Zeng Xiaoqing, asecond-level researcher of the Yangjiang Education Bureau, expressed gratitudeto the SPE of SCUT forits assistance to Yangjiang's primary and secondary schools. Gao Xiaobo, thevice dean of the SPE of SCUT, delivered a speech at the openingceremony and signed a teaching internship base agreement with Heshan MiddleSchool, Chengcun Middle School, and Beiguan Town Central Primary School. Theopening ceremony was chaired by Zhang Zhanming, the vice dean of the SPE of SCUT.

The expert team from the SPEconducted a one-day training, with classes covering both theory and practice. Nearly100 outstanding physical education teachers from primary and secondary schoolsin Yangjiang participated in this training to improve their teaching abilities.
This event has built a bridge forthe support of sports work in Yangjiang area by South China University ofTechnology. In the future, the SPE of SCUT will continue to support the work ofthe Yangjiang Education Bureau in various forms, such as sending students forinternships.
