Up to now, Dr. Chen has successfully initiated 7 provincial and ministry research projects and teaching-reformation projects. She has 2 monographs and over 20 articles published in famous journals such as Journal of Beijing Sports University, Journal of Physical Education and China Sports Science and Technology, etc. She has also compiled many course-books. Two of her articles were selected to the 9th and 10th National Sports Science Conference. She has received several teaching awards. In 2010, she was awarded the second-class prize for Teaching Achievements. Dr. Chen was conferred a title of Excellent Teacher in 2007. In 2016, Dr. Chen was granted Outstanding Sports Staff Member in science and engineering colleges and universities affiliated with Ministry of Education. She concurrently serves as astanding member of Fit-Keeping Association, Guangdong Province.
