报告摘要：

In this talk, we study the relation between the Fredholm determinant of the generalized Bessel kernel with both ordinary differential equations (ODEs) and partial differential equations (PDEs). The ODEs belong to a special class of Fuchsian equations: a Garnier system in two variables, while the PDEs belong to certain specific Ablowitz-Kaup-Newell-Segur (AKNS) flows.

This is a work in progress with Shuai-Xia Xu and Xiaolu Yue.

报告人介绍：

代丹，香港城市大学教授，博士生导师。主要研究方向为Riemann-Hilbert方法与渐近分析，正交多项式与特殊函数，可积系统，随机矩阵理论等。在随机矩阵特征值分布普适性猜想等领域取得了重要研究成果。相关研究成果发表在Advances in Mathematics，Communications in Mathematical Physics，SIAM Journal on Mathematical Analysis等国际学术期刊。主持香港研究资助局多项研究项目。
