报告摘要：

This talk presents recent advances concerning the stabilizing influence of magnetic fields on fluid dynamics. Specifically, we establish rigorous mathematical results for both incompressible and compressible Magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) systems. Our analysis demonstrates that the presence of a sufficiently strong magnetic field suppresses flow instabilities and enhances the long-time behavior of solutions. These findings provide theoretical justification for the observed magnetic stabilization effect across different fluid regimes.

报告人介绍：

翟小平博士，广东工业大学副教授，主要研究流体力学中非线性偏微分方程解的稳定性问题。曾主持完成国家自然科学基金青年基金项目和广东省自然科学基金面上项目。正在主持广东省优秀青年基金项目。在SCM，M3AS, SIAM等国际重要期刊发表SCI论文多篇。
