报告摘要：In this talk, I will present the result , joint with Dr. Jin Jia, on the multi-dimensional stability of rarefaction waves for isentropic Euler Equations with vorticity. As an application, we will discuss the multi -dimensional wave patterns of two rarefaction waves and one supersonic vortex sheet.
报告人介绍：罗涛，香港城市大学教授、博士生导师，1995年在中国科学院数学研究所获得博士学位，后于美国密西根大学(University ofMichigan)、Georgetown University(乔治城大学)历任助理教授、副教授、及教授。于2016年至今在香港城市大学任教授。罗涛教授的主要研究领域为流体力学中的非线性偏微分方程，如Euler及Navier-Stokes方程，输运方程等。研究成果发表于CPAM、ARMA、CMP、Adv. Math.等国际重要学术期刊。
报告主题2: Global well-posedness of inviscid resistive plasma interface waves

报告摘要：In this talk we will discuss the global well-posedness of the plasma-vacuum interface problem for the incompressible inviscid resistive MHD in a horizontally infinite slab with suitable physical boundary conditions impressed by a uniform non-horizontal magnetic field, in both 2D and 3D.
报告人介绍：厦门大学教授、博士生导师。2005年本科和2011年博士毕业于厦门大学，荣获2013年全国百篇优秀博士学位论文奖，2015年福建省自然科学杰出青年基金，2015年福建省高校新世纪优秀人才支持计划，以及2019年入选国家高层次青年人才。主要从事流体力学中的非线性偏微分方程的数学理论研究，论文发表在CPAM、ARMA、CMP、Adv. Math.等国际重要学术期刊。
