报告摘要:
In this paper, we investigate a new type of generalized circle packings in hyperbolic background geometry using variational principles. Horocycles and hypercycles are also considered in those packings. By studying Colin de Verdiere's variational principle, we discover a uniform approach to define a functional regarding circles, horocycles and hypercycles by total geodesic curvatures. By analyzing this functional, we obtain an existence and rigidity of the generalized circle packing with conical singularities with respect to the total geodesic curvature on each vertex. As a consequence, we introduce the combinatoral Ricci flow to find a desired circle packing with the prescribed total geodesic curvature on each vertex.

胡光明于金陵科技学院担任讲师,主要研究Teichmuller 空间与模空间的紧化及相关问题。近年来在Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.,Acta Math Sin.(England.Ser),Ann. Fenn. Math.,等期刊发表学术论文15篇,主持国家青年基金一项。
