报告摘要：The theory of total positivity for an arbitrary reductive group was developed by Lusztig in 1994. It has many beautiful algebraic, combinatorial and geometric properties, and has had significant impacts on several active research directions. In this talk, I will survey some recent important results in this area. After that, I will discuss the regular properties of unipotent elements in total positivity and confirm a conjecture by Lusztig. This is based on a joint work with Haiyu Chen. 

报告人介绍：谢锴涛，2022年毕业于华南理工大学数学与应用数学专业，现为香港中文大学在读博士研究生，研究方向为代数群和表示论。
