报告摘要：Let D be a non-trivial block-transitive 3-(v,k,1) design, where T≤ G ≤Aut(T) for some finite non-abelian simple group T. It is proved that if T is a simple exceptional group of Lie type, then T is either the Suzuki group or G₂(q). Furthermore, if T is the Suzuki group then the design D has parameters v=q²+1 and k=q+1, and so D is an inverse plane of order q; and if T= G₂(q) then the point-stabilizer in T is either SL₃(q).2 or SU₃(q).2, and the parameter k satisfies very restricted conditions.

报告人介绍：刘伟俊，中南大学二级教授、博导，湖南省新世纪121人才，主要从事有限群论和代数组合方面的研究，特别在群与组合设计的研究领域取得了一系列重要成果。在J.Combin.Theory Ser. A、European J.Combin.、J.Global Optim.、Theoret.Comput.Sci.等国内外高水平期刊发表论文130多篇（其中SCI文章90余篇），主编和参编教材各1部，主持多项国家自然科学基金面上项目、湖南省自然科学基金面上项目等，培养硕士研究生50余名，博士研究生10余名。
