报告摘要：Let $(X, T, \mu)$ be a measure-preserving dynamical system, where the space $X$ is equipped with a metric $d$. For two points $ x, y \in X$, and a positive integer $n$, define $m_n (x, y)$ as the smallest distance between the orbit points $T^i x$ and $T^j y$ with $0 \leq i , j \leq n-1$. The asymptotic behavior of $m_n(x, y)$ is studied. It is proved that under certain rapid mixing conditions of the dynamical system, $\mu \times \mu$-almost surely $ -\log m_n (x, y) / \log n $ converges to the constant $2 / C_{\mu}$, where $C_{\mu}$ is the correlation dimension of the measure $\mu$. For irrational rotations, the behavior is different. The irrationality exponent of the angle of rotation is involved. This is a joint work with Vanessa Barros and Jérôme Rousseau.
报告人介绍：廖灵敏，2008年获得法国Picardie大学及武汉大学博士学位。2010年获得法国东巴黎大学终身教职。2017年获Habilitation。2022年7月起任武汉大学教授博士生导师。主要从事分形几何，动力系统，度量数论等方面的研究。连续三次获得法国教育部A级优秀科研奖励(PEDR)。主持或参与法国国家科研计划，法国台湾幽兰合作计划，法国中国蔡元培合作计划，法国韩国星合作计划，法国波兰钋合作计划等。曾应邀在瑞典，波兰，韩国，巴西，马来西亚，台湾等国家和地区访问讲学。 在包括J.Eur.Math.Soc., Math.Ann., Adv. Math., Int.Math.Res.Not., Trans.Amer.Math.Soc., Ergod.Theory Dyna.Syst.等在内的国际期刊发表论文39篇。
