报告摘要：Besicovitch-Davis theorem says that for any set of reals, its Hausdorff dimension can be approximagted by the Hausdorff dimension of its closed subsets. And Joyce-Preiss theorem says that Besicovitch-Davis theorem holds for the packing dimension. We apply some recent  results from algorithmic randomness theory and set theory to generalize Besicovitch-Davis and Joyce-Preiss theorems.

报告人简介：喻良, 2003年在南京大学数学系获得博士学位。2020年获得国家杰出青年基金。现为南京大学数学系教授，系主任。研究方向为数理逻辑，尤其是递归论，集合论与算法信息论。
