报告摘要：I will present the joint work with Prof. Yuri Trakhinin on the nonlinear structural stability of contact discontinuities with surface tension in 3D ideal compressible magnetohydrodynamics (MHD). The main ingredient of our proof is deriving the resolution and tame estimate of the linearized problem in usual Sobolev spaces of sufficiently large regularity.

报告人简介：王涛，武汉大学副教授。目前的主要研究兴趣为双曲守恒律组中的特征间断和自由边界问题, 研究成果发表于Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal.、Math. Ann.、M3AS、JDE等学术期刊。
