报告摘要:A family of quadratic algebras associated with quantum groups emerged in the work of Yuri Manin in the late 1980s. In the simplest example, such an algebra arises from 2 x 2 matrices whose ‘coaction’preserves the ‘quantum plane’ with generators x, y and the relation yx = qxy. We will discuss basic properties of the algebras and show that many classical identities have their counterparts for the associated Manin matrices. They include the MacMahon Master Theorem, Newton Identities and Cayley-Hamilton Theorem. We will also consider applications of these properties to descriptions of Casimir elements for the general linear Lie algebras.
报告人简介:Molev是悉尼大学教授,澳大利亚科学院院士,国际著名表示论专家,在Yangian 代数、组合数学等诸多研究领域都作出了重要的贡献。Molev教授2001年获得澳大利亚数学会奖,著有Yangian代数的权威名著。
