报告摘要：

In this talk we discuss various aspects of the analysis of the Ericksen-Leslie equations both in the isothermal and non-isothermal situation.

We consider here the case of general Leslie and general Ericksen stress and regarding these models as quasilinear parabolic equations we obtain a rather complete understanding of the dynamics of these systems.
