报告摘要：

        Many applications show that nonconvex nonsmooth regularization has advantages for restoring images with neat edges. In this talk, we will provide a mathematical explanation for this phenomenon through establishing a uniform lower bound for nonzero gradients of recovered images. Inspired by this lower bound theory, we also propose an algorithm for the nonconvex models.

报告人简介：

曾超，2016年毕业于中国科大数学学院，计算数学博士。之后在南开大学，香港浸会大学做博士后研究。研究方向包括数值代数，数值优化，多元样条，以及在图像处理，几何处理中的应用。已在SIAM J. Numer. Anal., SIAM J. Imaging Sci.等期刊发表论文十余篇。
