In this talk, we will introduce some recent results on the Euler-Poisson equation for ions. In particular, we will consider the derivation of the KdV and the Nonlinear Schrodinger equation from the Euler-Poisson equation and other related limiting problems.

蒲学科,男,理学博士,广州大学数学与信息科学学院教授、博士生导师。2009年毕业于中国工程物理研究院研究生部,获理学博士学位,应用数学方向,主要从事非线性偏微分方程的数学理论研究。相关文章发表在Arch. Ration. Mech. Anal., SIAM J. Math. Anal., Calc. Var., J. Differential Equations等数学期刊中,出版专著4部,多次获得国家自然科学基金委资助。
报告二摘要:
In this paper, we study the motion of the two dimensional inviscid incompressible, infinite depth water waves with point vortices in the fluid. We show that Taylor sign conditioncan fail if point vortices are sufficient close to the free boundary, so the water waves could be subject to Taylor instability. Assuming Taylor sign condition, we prove that the water wave system is locally well posed in Sobolev spaces. Moreover, we show that if the water waves is symmetric with a symmetric vortex pair traveling downward initially, then the free interface remains smooth for a long time, and for initial data of size
1, the lifespan is at least
. The result can be extended to global and obtained modified scattering for localized initial data.

报告三摘要:
In this talk, we shall show some new semi-rational solutions on an integrable multi-component (2 + 1)-dimensional long-wave-short-wave resonance interaction system, which are obtained by using Hirota method and a special limit. These solutions describe the interactions between various types of solutions, including line rogue waves, lumps, breathers and dark solitons. We only focus on the dynamical behaviors of the interactions between lumps and dark solitons in this paper. Our detailed study reveals two different types of excitation phenomena: fusion and fission.
The main reference is mainly based on a paper of mine joint with my student Jiguang Rao and two India Professors Kuppuswamy Porsezian, Thambithurai Kanna, (Proc. R. Soc. A 474: 20170627.)

1999年7月研究生毕业于中国科大数学系,获得理学博士学位。留校任教至2008年12月,任讲师,副教授。2009年1月起,任宁波大学数学系教授,副院长。主要研究领域是可积非线性偏微分方程的数学理论及其物理应用,多次应邀到University of Cambridge,University of Sheffield 等大学访问和报告。主持国家科学基金4项,曾参加973项目、国家自然科学基金项目、中科院项目多项。入选教育部2008年度新世纪优秀人才支持计划(2009-2011)。在国内外有重要影响的学术刊物上发表论文总计180余篇。Google scholar中有引用3500余次。
