报告摘要:
I will first talk about Fourier analysis in Euclidean spaces and introduce the restriction problems, a basic problem in Fourier analysis. Then we turn to the finite field analogue of restriction problem. G. Mockenhaupt and T. Tao initially studied the finite field analogue of restriction problem. By adapting their arguments we obtain finite field analogue of restriction theorem. Furthermore, inspired by the constructions in the Euclidean setting, we show that the range of the exponentials is sharp for the finite fields setting.
