报告摘要1:Let X be a bounded metric space of finite Assouad dimension s. In this talk, I prove that, for every number t between 0 and s, there is a countable subset of X with Assouad dimension t.
报告摘要2：In this talk, I will show that the set defined by digit restrictions contains arbitrarily long arithmetic progressions if and only if its Assouad dimension is one. Moreover, I will computer the Fourier dimension of the sets defined by digit restrictions and present some further problems (This is a joint work with Min Wu and Ying Xiong).
报告人简介1：文胜友，湖北大学教授、博士生导师。主要研究分形几何相关问题，在Indiana Univ. Math. J., Illinois J. Math, Nonlinearity等国际知名期刊发表SCI数学论文30余篇。主持和参与国家面上项目多项。多次到香港中文大学数学系和中科院晨兴数学中心访问。2014年受邀作为芬兰Jyväskylä大学Ojala博士的博士学位论文《Fat and Thin sets: Geometry of Doubling Measures in Metric Space》的评阅人。其指导的硕士学位论文中获得2013年世界华人数学家大会-丘成桐新世界数学奖硕士论文银奖一项。
报告人简介2：李进军，广州大学副教授，硕士生导师,葡萄牙里斯本技术大学博士后,《Mathematical Reviews》评论员。2015年3月—2016年3月在美国密歇根州立大学统计与概率系做访问学者。入选“福建省高校新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。主要研究方向为分形与动力系统、概率论。已在“Rev. Mat. Iberoam”、“Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst.”、“Nonlinearity”、“Monatsh. Math.”、“Tohoku Math. J.”等期刊发表SCI论文20余篇。正主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项和福建省自然科学基金面上项目1项；已主持完成国家自然科学基金青年项目1项和福建省自然科学基金青年创新项目1项。
