报告摘要:We say non-zero complex numbers a_1, ..., a_n to be multiplicatively dependent if there exist integers k_1, ..., k_n, not all zero, such that the product a_1^{k_1} ... a_n^{k_n} = 1. In this talk, I will present some recent results on the multiplicative dependence of values of rational functions and their applications to polynomial dynamical systems. One typical result is that given rational functions f_1, ..., f_n over a number field K, under some conditions, there are only finitely many numbers a_1, ..., a_n from the maximal abelian extension of K such that the numbers f_1(a_1), ..., f_n(a_n) are multiplicatively dependent.
