报告摘要:Recently there has been tremendous interest in counting the number ofintegral points in n-dimensional tetrahedra with non-integralvertice. It has very important applications in primality testing andfactoring in number theory and in singularities theory. The noveltyfor Yau Number Theoretic Conjecture is that we count the latticepoints in a polytope whose vertices are not necessarily integerpoints. The purpose of Yau Number Theoretic Conjecture is toformulate a conjecture on sharp upper estimate of the number ofintegral points in n-dimensional tetrahedra with non-integralvertice. It is proven true up to 7 dimension recently. In thistalk I will try to discuss how to generalize to general case.
