报告摘要:The classical theory of Oleinik for the Prandtl boundary layerequations states that the monotonicity of the tangential velocityfield in the normal direction to the boundary leads to local in timewell-posedness. In this talk, we will present our recent work on theMHD boundary layer that shows the tangential magnetic fieldstabilizes the boundary layer so that the monotonicity condition isno longer needed. This is a joint work with Chengjie Liu and FengXie.
