报告摘要:
Thevariable-coefficient two-dimensional Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) model isof considerable significance in describing many physical situationssuch as in the canonical and cylindrical cases, propagation ofsurface waves in large channels of varying width and depth withnonvanishing vorticity, etc. Under investigation hereby is ageneralized variable-coefficient two-dimensional KdV model withvarious external-force terms. With bilinear method extended, thismodel is transformed into a variable-coefficient bilinear form, andthen a Backlund transformation is constructed in bilinear form. Viasymbolic computation, the associated inverse scattering scheme issimultaneously derived on the basis of the aforementioned bilinearBacklund transformation. Certain constraints on coefficient functionsare also analyzed and finally some possible cases of theexternal-force terms are discussed as well.

吕兴博士,1982年生,北京交通大学理学院数学系副教授,主要从事孤子理论与可积系统、计算机符号计算等方面的研究。主持国家自然科学基金、中国博士后基金。在SCI核心期刊杂志PhysicalReview E, Chaos,Journal of Mathematical Physics ,Applied MathematicsLetters,Journalof Mathematical Analysis andApplications,等发表论文六十余篇,其中一篇入选近十年ESI高被引用论文。
