Inthis work we develop a flux approximation method, which contains thepressure perturbation portion, to analyze the phenomena ofconcentration and cavitation and the formation of delta-shocks andvacuum states in solutions to the Euler equations of isentropic andnonisentropic gas dynamics. Our results show that the fluxapproximations of difference have their respective effect on thephenomena of concentration and cavitation and the formation ofdelta-shocks and vacuum states in isentropic and nonisentropicfluids. Our results also show that both the delta shock wave andvacuum are stable under some flux small perturbations. The numericalsimulations confirm theoretical analysis.
