报告摘要:Thevortex sheet solutions are considered for the inviscid liquid-gastwo-phase flow. In particular, the linear stability of rectilinearvortex sheets in two spatial dimensions is established for bothconstant and variable coefficients. The linearized problem of vortexsheet solutions with constant coefficients is studied by meansof Fourier analysis, normal mode analysis and Kreiss' symmetrizer, while the linear stability with variable coefficients isobtained by Bony-Meyer's paradifferential calculus theory. The linearstability is crucial to the existence of vortex sheet solutions ofthe nonlinear problem. A novel symmetrization and some weightedSobolev norms are introduced to study the hyperbolic linearizedproblem with characteristic boundary. This work is joint with Prof.Dehua Wang, Dr. Shangkun Weng and Prof. Changjiang Zhu.
