Abstract: Weprove the differentiability of the Lq-spectrum and the multifractalformalism of self-similar measures with overlaps by converting afinite iterated function system to some infinite graph-directed one.We apply our result to a class of self-similar measures of generalfinite type. This is a joint work with Guotai Deng.
