报告摘要:Thecontinued fraction expansion of a real number in [0, 1], inparticular its Diophantine approximations, are a major topic innumber theory. One particular method, by which one can study suchapproximations is by considering a suitable discrete dynamical system([0,1], T) and studying what is now known as the shrinking targetproblem first introduced by R. Hill and S. L. Velani in 1995. In thistalk, we focus on the dynamical system of continued fractions todescribe the well-approximable sets whose Hausdorff dimensions willbe presented. This is a joint work with Bao-Wei Wang, Jun Wu and JianXu。
