报告摘要：
We will talk abouta a type of poly-harmonic equations with critical exponents and scalar
curvature K(y), K(y) is positive and periodic in its first k variables (y_1,..., y_k).
Under some conditions on K(y) near its critical point, we prove not only that this
problem admits solutions with infinitely many bubbles, but also that the bubbling solutions obtained in our existence result are locally unique. This local uniqueness result implies
that some bubbling solutions preserve the symmetry of K(y).

彭双阶教授，华中师范大学数学与统计学学院院长。国家杰出青年科学基金获得者，入选教育部"新世纪优秀人才支持计划"，荣获湖北省自然科学奖一等奖，教育部自然科学奖二等奖，国家教学成果奖二等奖等奖励与荣誉。现任《Acta Mathematica Scientia》(中、英文版)常务编委，湖北省暨武汉市工业与应用数学会副理事长。
