In this work we develop a flux approximation method, which contains the pressure perturbation portion, to analyze the phenomena of concentration and cavitation and the formation of delta-shocks and vacuum states in solutions to the Euler equations of isentropic and nonisentropic gas dynamics. Our results show that the flux approximations of difference have their respective effect on the phenomena of concentration and cavitation and the formation of delta-shocks and vacuum states in isentropic and nonisentropic fluids. Our results also show that both the delta shock wave and vacuum are stable under some flux small perturbations. The numerical simulations confirm theoretical analysis.
