Dr. Liao Haipeng is a postdoctoral researcher. He obtained his doctoral degree from South China University of Technology in 2025. His research focuses on the development of underwater welding equipment, optimization of underwater welding processes, and neutron diffraction and synchrotron radiation characterization techniques. During his doctoral studies, he participated in one national key research and development program and two projects funded by the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He has published 26 SCI/EI papers and applied for 17 patents. He serves as a reviewer for journals such as Journal of Manufacturing Processes.
