On September 30, the School of Business Administration at South China University of Technology (SBA-SCUT) officially obtained EQUIS accreditation. With this achievement, the school now holds all three major international accreditations for business schools: AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA.

During the review, the expert panel highly commended the school’s approach to business education, notably its strategic positioning in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, its efforts to foster interdisciplinary development by leveraging SCUT’s strengths in engineering, its strong research capabilities, and its close ties with industry. The panel also offered recommendations for the school’s long-term development.

Founded in 1971, the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) is a leading global organization in the field of management development. Together with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in the United States and the Association of MBAs (AMBA) in the United Kingdom, EFMD is recognized as one of the three major international accreditation bodies for business schools worldwide.
