Avene:Dongtang Hall, No.13 Building, Wushan Campus
About the Speaker:
Paul Dupree, Professor of Plant cell biology, in the department of Biochemistry, University of Cambridge. Research in the Dupree Group involves using genetic, biochemical and microbiological techniques, in conjunction with mass spectrometry- and nuclear magnetic resonance-based methods, to study the structure, synthesis and trafficking pathways of plant cell wall polysaccharides. Prof Dupree is interested in applying knowledge of plant cell wall polysaccharides to improve dietary fibre in foods.
