Accompanied by Dr. Zhuang Xinshu of Guangzhou Institute of Energy, CAS, a group from Faculty of Agro-Industry of Chiang Mai University, including Dean Sujinda Sriwattana, Associate Dean Srisuwan Narunartwongsakul and Dr. Noppol Leksawasdi, showed their presence to our school on March, 8th, 2018. A forum, presented by Dean Zeng Xinan, was held in the school.
During the forum, dual introductions of both school was performed. Deans of both schools expected further cooperation in the future.
After the forum, an exhibition of the most enhanced equipments and experimental results of the laboratory of vegetable protein was conducted by Professor Yang Xiaoquan, head of the lab. The group was benefited tremendously from the visit.
For the record, SCUT was the first stop of the trip to China by the group of Faculty of Agro-Industry, CMU. It was also their first time to visit any universities in China, which laid firm foundations of dual cooperation and exchange in the future. （by Jia Chenchen）
