On the morning of July 4th, the president of University of Idaho, Chuck Staben, Dean of College of Engineering, Larry Stauffer, Director of Confucius College of Idaho, Xue Hexian, and their accompanies came to our School for a visiting.

Vice Deans of School of Food Science and Engineering, SCUT, Professor Zeng Xin’an and Professor Wang Yonghua, and other Professors attended the greeting event and had a pleasant discussion with the guests. Professor Zeng Xin’an introduced our School and President Chuck Staben presented the information of the University of Idaho. Both Universities are famous in the field of Food Science. University of Idaho is in the leading position in the United States with food processing and South China University of Technology also ranked in the forefront of the domestic in this area, so both sides of talk thought there would be great potential of cooperation in the future.
