Dean of College of Light Industry and Food Sciences, Professor Shujuan Yu presented memento to Professor Mohammed M. Farid.
Professor Mohammed M. Farid delivered 2 academic lectures, including “Ultraviolet Sterilization Technology”, “High Pressure Sterilization Technology”, “Pulsed Electric field Sterilization Technology”. He also shared the experience and understanding of his scientific research of Ohmic heating. This lecture provided the opportunity to communicate with others.
Mohammed M. Farid is a Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Auckland and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers, London. He has published more than 260 papers in international journals and refereed conferences, 6 patents, 6 books and 10 chapters in books. Farid has received a number of international awards and was invited as a keynote speaker to a number of international conferences worldwide. His main interest is in the non thermal pasteurisation and sterilisation of food such as high pressure processing, pulsed electric field and UV. He is the editor of the recently published book: Mathematical modeling of food processing by CRC. |
