Title: How the plant circadian clock controls rhythmic protein degradation?

Speaker: Dr. Joshua Gendron, Yale University
Time: 10:00AM, July 3, 2015
Location: Dongtang Conference Room, 13# Building

Brief Introduction:

Dr. Joshua Gendron is an assistant professor in the Department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at Yale University. He earned his PhD degree in Plant Biology at Stanford University. And then, Dr. Joshua Gendron conducted postdoctoral research at University of California San Diego. Dr. Joshua Gendron’s research interests include plants, circadian clock and protein degradation. His lab studies how plants integrate environmental information from the sun and control daily biological processes. These studies help to optimize plant growth to ensure stable food supplies for the world. Dr. Joshua Gendron has published several papers in top academic journals, including Science, PNAS, Genome Biology and Molecular Plant.
