Recently, the publicity micro-video From the Laboratory to the Field: A Practical Answer Sheet of a Party Member Model for Rural Revitalization, produced by the School of Environment and Energy of South China University of Technology, was awarded an Excellent Work in the provincial publicity micro-video collection and exhibition activity of "Yue Jiang Yue Jing Cai". 

Told from the perspective of Zhong Wenye, a doctoral candidate of our School and one of the "Top 100 Graduate Student Party Member Models" in national universities, the micro-video narrates the story of the "Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Project" commando team of the School taking the initiative to participate in rural revitalization and green development. By integrating field investigations with professional knowledge, the team formulated a wastewater treatment plan for Kongmei Village, practicing the concept that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets. As a "mobile ideological and political course", the micro-video has been broadcast on major media platforms including Learning Power and China Education News.

It is reported that this selection activity, guided by the Lecture Group of the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and undertaken by Southern Metropolis Daily, was held across Guangdong Province. The activity received 557 entries recommended by various local units and institutions. After preliminary review, expert selection, public announcement and other procedures, 35 award-winning works were finally selected, among which only 2 were from universities.
