Special Study Session on the Spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Held by the Party Committee of the School of Environment and Energy

To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and effectively unify the thinking and actions of all faculty members of the School with the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee, the Party Committee of the School held the Centralized Study Session on the Party's Innovative Theories for Teachers in November 2025 in Conference Room B4-215 on the afternoon of November 27. The meeting was presided over by Professor Zhu Nengwu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, with the participation of more than 90 people including the school leadership team and all faculty members.

 

On-site of the Centralized Study Session for Teachers 

This special study session specially invited Professor Liu Siyuan, a key lecturer of the university from the School of Business Administration and the School of Future Technology, to deliver a special lecture on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. Entitled Human-Machine Symbiotic Intelligence: From Theory to Methods and Practice, the lecture closely aligned with the strategic requirement of "modernization and intellectualization of governance" proposed at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee. It provided an in-depth and straightforward interpretation of "how human-machine symbiotic intelligence drives technological innovation and the development of the digital economy" from aspects such as the new missions of the Greater Bay Area during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, the overall deployment and planning suggestions. The lecture was conducted in an active atmosphere, and the participants unanimously stated that the lecture was demand-oriented, highly targeted, substantial in content, engaging and thought-provoking.

 

Special Lecture on the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee 

The meeting emphasized that all teachers should integrate the major strategic arrangements determined at the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee into the entire process of education and teaching, adhere to the original aspiration and mission of cultivating talents for the Party and the country, strengthen the integration of learning and application, and inject strong impetus into the sustainable development of education in the new era.

At the meeting, the faculty of the School also collectively watched the promotional video Campus Traffic Safety Education. Secretary Zhu Nengwu gave work reminders regarding the school's official seal, annual assessment and safety education matters.
