To comprehensively improve the laboratory safety management level of our university and enhance the safety prevention awareness and emergency response capabilities of teachers and students, the 12th Laboratory Safety Forum, sponsored by the Department of Assets and Laboratory Management and undertaken by the School of Environment and Energy, was successfully held in Lecture Hall B4-215 of the Environment Building, University Town Campus on the morning of October 30, 2025. With the theme of "Prevent Hazards at the Source, Turn Dangers into Safety", this event attracted the active participation of more than 180 teachers and students from over 10 colleges and departments across the university.

The event focused on two key risk areas: laboratory gas safety and hazardous waste disposal, carrying out special training. In her speech, Chen Yan, Vice Dean of the School of Environment and Energy, emphasized the extreme importance of laboratory safety work, pointing out that strengthening safety education, improving safety awareness, and mastering emergency response skills are important cornerstones for ensuring the life safety of teachers and students and the smooth progress of scientific research and teaching work.
