On the afternoon of September 26, the School of Environment and Energy held this semester’s "First Ideological and Political Course" in Lecture Hall B4-215 of the University Town Campus. Professor Zhu Nengwu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, focused on the theme of Commemorating the Victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and Strengthening National Conviction, and delivered a vivid patriotic education course to more than 90 graduate student Party members and active Party members.

Secretary Zhu Nengwu comprehensively reviewed the history of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, made an in-depth interpretation of the spirit of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, and profoundly expounded the great significance of the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, using rich historical materials, detailed historical data and valuable video materials.

Secretary Zhu Nengwu put forward three hopes for the students: First, keep in mind the nature and purpose of the Party, serve the people wholeheartedly, always maintain advanced nature, and play a vanguard and exemplary role. Second, raise political stance, enhance awareness of prevention, carry forward the spirit of struggle, and have the courage to fight against all forces that endanger national sovereignty, security and development. Third, in the face of the unprecedented changes in the world in a century, they should bravely take on heavy responsibilities in scientific research, study diligently, strive to produce high-level scientific research achievements, and fulfill the original aspiration and mission with practical actions.
