Former U.S. EPA Director Dale Evarts Invited to Give an Academic Report at Our School

Recently, at the invitation of the School of Environment and Energy, South China University of Technology, Dale Evarts, former Director of the Office of International Climate Cooperation and Multi-Media of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), visited our School on September 25, 2025. An academic report meeting was held in Conference Room B4-310 of the Environment Building, where he conducted in-depth academic exchanges with teachers and students.

At the report meeting, Dale shared content related to clean air and energy policies, and discussed the development trends of environment and green energy, providing references for the global response to climate change. He stated that the current global climate change and atmospheric pollution control are facing complex challenges, and international coordination and technological exchanges are of great significance. He expressed the expectation to carry out more in-depth academic exchanges and cooperation with relevant scientific research institutions and organizations in the future, and jointly contribute to the improvement of the global ecological environment.
